We keep this simple. Here is what we collect, why, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
- Your name and phone number.
- Vehicle details and the work you need.
- Your address, if you ask for a call-out.
- Your preferred time, and any messages or photos you send us.
- Job records and invoices.
How we collect it
When you use our booking steps, they open WhatsApp with your details filled in. The booking steps do not store anything on our website’s server. We also receive details when you call, email or message us.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to you, give you a quote and do the work you ask for (to take steps at your request and carry out our contract).
- To keep accounting and tax records (a legal obligation).
- To handle complaints and queries about our work (our legitimate interest in running the business fairly).
- To send you reminders, only if you ask for them.
Messages sent through WhatsApp are processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy terms.
Who we share it with
Only people we need to: parts suppliers when ordering for your job, our accountant, and authorities where the law requires. We don’t sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep job and invoice records for 6 years for tax purposes. Enquiries that don’t become jobs are deleted within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy. Contact us and we’ll help. If you’re unhappy, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Cookies and storage
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It remembers your text size choice, and the jobs you add while you browse, in your own browser only. If we add analytics in future, we’ll ask for your consent first.
