Questions we get a lot.
How much will my job cost?
Prices on this site are guide prices, because your vehicle’s make, age and condition change the work. Before we start we give you a written fixed quote, and we never add work without asking.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are preferred so we can give you proper time. Message or call and we’ll find a slot. Walk-ins are welcome when we have space.
Do you come to my house?
Yes, for jobs we can do without a lift or heavy tools: full services, oil changes, diagnostics, NCT pre-checks, punctures, batteries, brake pads, valeting and roadside help. Choose “We come to you”, add your address and a preferred time, and we confirm the call-out price by message before we travel.
Which jobs need the garage?
Engine replacement, head gaskets, clutches, headlight alignment, exhaust and sound upgrades, tyre fitting, air-con regas, bodywork and similar jobs need our lift, machines or heavy tools, so they’re done at our garage in Athenry. We’ll tell you before we travel if your job can’t be done at your address.
What does the free pre-NCT check cover?
We check the common NCT failure points before your test: lights, tyres, brakes, wipers, fluids, horn and more. It’s free with any booking. We can’t guarantee a pass, because test centres and equipment can differ, but you’ll know what to fix first.
What if I don’t want the repair after you find the fault?
That’s your choice. A diagnostic scan is charged for our time finding the fault, and it’s credited against the repair if you book it with us.
What if you find more problems while you’re working?
We stop, show you, and give you a price. You decide. Nothing extra is done without your yes.
Do you work on motorbikes?
Yes. Services, brakes, chains and sprockets, tyres, carburettors, gaskets and engine work.
Can you fit parts I’ve bought myself?
Yes, for the labour price. Our warranty covers our workmanship, not parts supplied by customers. We can also supply and fit parts for you.
Do you drive my car?
No. You bring your car or bike to our garage and collect it from us. For call-outs, we work on it where it’s parked. We don’t drive customers’ vehicles on public roads.
Do you fit exhausts, tints and other mods?
Yes, legal ones: sound upgrades that pass the NCT, LED headlight upgrades, window tint, alloy refurbs and dash cams. We don’t remove DPFs or fit road-illegal exhausts.
